Yalghaar or Yalgaar means assault/attack.

Yalgaar is also the name of  a 1992 Hindi  film directed by and starring Feroz Khan alongside Sanjay Dutt, Nagma and Kabir Bedi.

Sudarshan Faakir wrote the dialogues for the film. Faakir belonged to the small and diminishing tribe of non-Muslim Urdu poets from East Punjab. His ghazals and nazms were sung by Begum Akhtar and Jagjit Singh.
