Magroor means arrogant/proud

Given below is a poem and its translation which has the word ‘Magroor’

Magroor na hon apne muqqadar pe ae nadan,

Allah ki nazaroon mein barar hai sab insaan,

Duniya ke ajab rang nazar aane lage hai,

ek beta hai jo baap se takrane lage hai,

ek baap hai jo beta se takrane lage hai,

ek bhai hai jo bahi se takrane lage hai,

Afsoos, ki isaan bhi ban jata hai shaitan,

Allah ki nazaroon mein barar hai sab insaan

be not proud of what you has been given, oh foolish one,

Every man is equal in the eyes of god

I am begining to see the different colors of the world

A son is in conflict with his father

A father is in conflict with his son

A brother is in conflict with his brother

Disappointing, that man becomes evil

Every man is equal in the eyes of god.

Yeh saaz, yeh mehfil, yeh tarane na rahenge,

Yeh husn-o- mohhabat ke fasane na rahenge,

mit jayega ek pal mein gunahon ka yeh samaan,

Allah ki nazaroon mein barar hai sab insaan

These musical instruments, these gatherings, these songs will not remain

These stories of love and romance will eventually end

This load will perish at the cost of sins

Every man is equal in the eyes of god.

Zalim ko bhi har zulm se baaz aana padega,

looti hui har cheez ko lautana padega,

Kudrat ka yeh kanoon badalna nahi asaan,

Allah ki nazaroon mein barar hai sab insaan

The oppressor will have to stop his oppression

Every act of oppression will be accounted for

Altering the law of nature is not that easy

Every man is equal in the eyes of god.
