Urdu Literature has a long lineage of spectacular works from various genres. Humour is one of its strong facets. Urdu literature has in its repertoire many prolific humourous writers ranging from Patras Bukahri to Ibn-e-Insha. There are many poets who use Humour in their works too such as Dilawar Figar, Zameer Jafri and Suleman Khateeb. Lets share laughter and joy as we explore humour in the writings of various poets and writers at Mehfil.
