Aadatan hum ne aitbaar kiya
Teri raahon mein baar-haa ruk kar
Hum ne apnaa hi intezaar kiya
Ab na maangenge zindagi yaarab

Out of sheer habit, you made a promise
And similarly, habitually, I trusted you
Tarrying continually by your paths
I kept on awaiting myself, I guess
Never again will I seek life, O Lord
I have made this mistake once, that is enough
