Sahir Ludhianvi’s famous couplet from the poem ‘Farar’ (escape) that was published in the anthology Talkhiyaan (Bitterness), uses this lafz to convey his perspective in a thought provoking manner –

Maazi, Haal, Mustaqbil (Urdu: ماضی، حال، مستقبل) is also the second studio album of the Pakistani progressive rock band Mizraab, released in March, 2004 on Sadaf Stereo.
